Sicilian volcanoes way

Day 1/2/3: Etna is the biggest active volcano in Europe with its almost 3400m of height on sea level, constantly growing, eruption after eruption.

Free-ride trekking, bike tours, canyoning on a river with lavic gorges, lavic caves explorations, sleeping inside a shelter, barbecue and skiing in winter are only some of the activities you can experience during 3 days on the slopes of this big volcano.

Day 4/5/6: Eolian Islands, Vulcano, Stromboli and Strombolicchio – 3 days in the Eolian Archipelago to go trekkking on Stromboli island’s always active volcano, renowned for its explosions that named the ”Strombolian activity” scientific definition. Visit to Strombolicchio island, a volcanic neck rock, 1 mile away from Stromboli, inhabited only by a species of rare black lizards; such an amazing place for diving and snorkeling!

Vulcano island, beyond volcanic phenomena and wild nature, will give you the time to relax in crystal-clear waters during a boat trip between Vulcano island and Lipari island, also allowing you to enjoy its nightlife.

Day 7/8/9/10:  Pantelleria island, located in the middle of Canale di Sicilia (Sicilian Channel), is the biggest of the Sicilian islands. It could be said it is a sort of small continent, thanks to its incredible and various characteristics. Three days to enjoy its still active volcano, which produces some kinds of phenomena like ”natural Jacuzzis” inside and outside caves, natural sauna caves to found throughout the forest – both those heated by the underlying volcano, or the ”favare”, natural hot air leakages on the ground.

Furthermore, Pantelleria is a perfect place for food and wine lovers, with its unique Passito Wine and local products such as the Pantelleria Capers. Deep lavic rocky shores, with 3 different kind of basalts and an amazing underwater life, have turned this place into a diving and sport fishing paradise. These and many others outdoor activities, like trekking, mountain bike and horse riding, are possible on demand during the trip.
