Egadi Fishing TripUnexpected Mediterranean
This Sicilian islands are the top spots for tuna fishing in the whole Mediterranean Sea. April to September is the best moment of the year if you want to catch big Blue Fin Tunas because of its ”way” of passing just by our west coast. If rightly equipped it is possible to catch the ”Red Giant” when you are land-based, with spinning and popping techniques. Here everything is about tuna fishing and ”Tonnara” history. However, it is always possible to catch all classic mediterranean predators, like Amberjack, Common dentex, Barracuda, Seabass, bluefish, Sadded Seabream, Skipjack tuna, etc.
Also, guests who prefer not to go fishing, will be provided with a separate program to explore the islands.
Live inside a fisherman’s house, in front of the beach
Try to catch the big “Blue Fin” tuna from shore
Seabass, bluefish, barracuda in shallow waters
Amberjack, grouper, snapper, atlantic bonito from deep shores
Stunning landscapes and crazy explorations
Visit the best tonnara of Sicily, learn the history of tuna fishing
Learn how to catch octopuses, which will be cooked for you; reconize and collect sea urchins yourself which will be eaten by the sea.
Run the island in a 4×4 vehicle or motor bike
Snorkel inside hidden coves that belong to the marine reserve

We had an amazing fishing trip with Andrea. Extremely professional and organized. Our group loved the especially-arranged days, the locations and best of all they caught fish! We will definitely be back to do another trip with Andrea. Fantastic!

After my trip to Sicily with Andrea as my guide these things have happened. Every day I dream of Sicily. It is the best place I have ever been……….and I have been to over 50 different countries. And everything was well organised. I feel like a new person. Andrea is a fantastic host, guide and so much fun to fish and explore with. It was like having a younger brother. I have never laughed so much I am planning another trip in September to see some more taste of island, village and city life of Sicily and another in February to do some skiing on Etna. Yes, you can ski and fish in Sicily at the same time.
